Hi, my name is Hunter Reboul. I’m 18 years old and will be turning 19 during the pilgrimage, specifically at General Council. I’m representing Alberta Northwest and I live in Calgary, Alberta.
I took up the opportunity thanks in part to my youth leader, Brenda McKellar, who brought the experience up to me. After hearing the details, it sounded like an interesting experience. After (the national) Youth Forum in February, I knew I wanted to go.
This summer, I’m most looking forward to the activities and opportunities that will be presented to us. We have so little time in each area, and I’m sure each day will be action packed. Seeing the sites, meeting the people, learning about the land, it’s culture and it’s history, all of it is very exciting to think about.
I’m absolutely going to miss my family and friends, but it’ll all be worth it when I come back with new stories and knowledge to share!
